Club Notes For 21/01/2013

 

 

 

Friday saw are annual adult awards take place where the player of the year of 2012 was awarded. It saw the club acknowledge the Ladies team who won the junior “F” championship, as well as the re-union of the junior “B” championship winning team of 2002. A great night was had by all and we would like to congratulate all those players who got an award and hope that 2013 is another successful year.

Under 21 Football Player of the year: Colin Kyne - Delaney

Minor Hurler of the year: Conor Leavy

With the national league fast approaching, the Dublin County Board are pleased to announce the launch of Spring Series 2013. The Dublin Senior Footballers will play 5 of their Allianz League Matches in Croke Park including one double header with the Dublin Senior Hurlers. Fixtures as below:   

Sat 2nd February:           Kildare v Donegal @ 5.15pm,                    Dublin v Cork @7pm   

Sat 2nd March:                 Dublin v Mayo@ 7pm

Sun 10th March:              Kildare v Dublin @ 2pm

Sat 16th March:               Dublin Hurlers v Limerick @5.15pm    Dublin Footballers v Tyrone @7pm     

Sat 23rd March:               Dublin v Down @ 7pm

5 Match Packages:

·         Stand: Adult €50, Juvenile €15

·         Hill 16: Adult €50 – no concessions for juveniles

·         Wheelchair: €50

 

Single Game Tickets:

·         Stand: Adult €13, Juvenile €5

There was no winner of the Jokers wild which was for €1100. Declan o Dwyer’s name was drawn and failed to turn over the joker so next week’s Jokers wild is worth €1200.

There were two winners of the Jackpot this week they each receive €700 each: Jennifer Murray c/o Leah Murray & Dave Keenan c/o Brian Keenan.  The numbers drawn were: 3 - 9 – 16. Next week’s lotto is for €1000
