Naomh Olaf made a disappointing start to the Intermediate Football Championship losing by seven points to St Jude’s in a game played in perfect conditions at St Finian’s excellent newly laid pitch.
A young Jude’s side surged into a four point lead in the first quarter and Naomh Olaf never succeeded in narrowing the gap to less than three. Jude’s finished strongly and all but one of their scores came from play.
