Naomh Mearnog 2 – 13                 Naomh Olaf 2 – 8

A much depleted Naomh Olaf side travelled across the city to play Naomh Mearnog in this third round game.  Robert Quinn made a good start with a goal in the first few minutes but Naomh Mearnog hit back with 1 – 6 without reply.  At half time the score was Naomh Mearnog 1 – 7 to Naomh Olaf’s 1 – 1.

Naomh Olaf fought back strongly in the second half and had reduced the gap to just three points with less than ten minutes to go but Naomh Mearnog finished by adding two points to win on a score line of 2 – 13 to 2 – 8.
