On Saturday June 19^th, the U12 B football team entertained Ballyboden St. Enda’s in round 4 of the league.  In their previous game they travelled to play Liffey Gaels with an under strength panel and lost by 4 points. This defeat put a dent in their title aspirations but this defeat was the last thing on their mind when they played ‘Boden. 

The weather was lovely and the football played by Olaf’s matched the conditions.  Goalkeeper Ben Thornton kept a clean and was steady throughout the game.  The backs of Ryan Murphy, Cian Power Kelly, Dara Coleman, Alex Start and Matthew Deering did all that was asked of them.  The mid-field pairing of Jamie Deasy and Cian DeBurca dominated throughout the game. The forwards of Neil O’Mahony, Matthew O’Ceallaigh, Eric Stapleton and Chloe O’Ceallaigh put some lovely moves together which resulted in lovely scores for Olaf’s.  Cian Coughlan, James Keogh, Daniel Stapleton and David Breathnach were introduced during the game to some extra spice to the team. Conor Brady turned in a Man of the Match performance with a personal tally of 2-7.
