Naomh Olaf 1 – 13                           St Mark’s 1 – 6

With ten minutes played St Mark’s led by three points but Conor Haskins from play and Brian Begley with a free brought Olaf’s into the game.  St Mark’s then scored a fortunate goal when a rebound ball off the post fell kindly and was finished to the net.  Points from play from Eoin Kinsella, Brian Begley(2), David Lynch and John McGrath plus a “45” from Begley put Olaf’s ahead 0 -8 to 1 – 4 at half-time.

St Mark’s opened the second half with a point from play but sterling defence from Olaf’s meant that they only managed one more point in the half.  Olaf’s made full use of their greater possession to win the game by 1 – 13 to 1 – 6.
