In a hard fought encounter in Clondalkin Naomh Olaf were unlucky to lose by the minimum.  The brief lay-off for the summer break invigorated this Naomh Olaf side who played with great determination and deserved greater support on the sideline.  Cormac Lucey scored three points and Eoin Kinsella added another from play to trail by 0 – 4 to 0 – 9 at half-time.

A cracking goal by David Lynch and two points from Eoin Kinsella put Naomh Olaf back on level terms within ten minutes of the restart and the sides were level no less than five times in the second half.  Denied a clear cut penalty in the dying moments, not even awarded a free for a pull down in the square, and trailing by two points Naomh Olaf scored a point but this was not enough to take a deserved share of the points and Round Towers won by one.
