Intermediate Football Championship

Naomh Olaf 2 – 7                             Round Towers (L) 0 – 4

A low key game in Lawless Park saw Naomh Olaf run out winners by 2 – 7 to 0 – 4.  A cracking goal by Shane Whyte in the opening minutes gave Olaf’s an advantage which was never threatened by RoundTowers.  Towers sole point of the half was scored just before Eoin Kinsella found the net to increase Olaf’s lead to 2 – 0 to 0 – 1 and points were then added by Kevin Birrane, Gary Wilkins, Eoin Kinsella and Shane Whyte to bring the half time score to 2 – 4 to 0 – 1.

Round Towers started the second half brightly with two points but a point from Gary Wilkins and two from Eoin Kinsella sealed victory for Naomh Olaf by 2 – 7 to 0 – 4.
