4th September 2010 Senior Hurling Championship Naomh Olaf 4 - 14 St Mark’s 3 – 8 Both teams traded points during the opening ten minutes to draw with three points each with Naomh Olaf missing a couple of goal chances. From then on Naomh Olaf steadily pulled away with solid defence featuring a towering centre half back performance from Donal MacMathuna. Four fine goals, two from Declan O’Dwyer and two from Mick O’Connor, left the score at half time Naomh Olaf 4 – 7 to St Mark’s 0 – 3. Naomh Olaf playing into a strong wind in the second half continued to build their lead and were greatly helped by an overall hard working team performance with John McGrath and Seamas Kinsella making very fine contributions all through.
