Naomh Olaf 3 – 8 Kilmacud Crokes 1 – 13
Kilmacud Crokes started well with two points before Eoin Kinsella pounced on a long ball in from Lar Gillivan and finished it smartly to the net. Points from Fergal McCann, Eoin Kinsella and John Tyrell kept the scores level as Crokes added another four points. Eoin Kinsella finished another long ball to the net over the head of the advancing keeper and Crokes added a ’45 and a free to leave the half time score at 2 – 3 to 0 – 8. With ten minutes played in the second half Crokes had scored 1 – 4 to Cormac Lucey’s 0 – 2 for the home team. Olaf’s kept up the pressure with a well taken goal from Lar Gillivan and a point from Fergal McCann but Crokes final score of the game gave them the lead at 1 – 13 to 3 – 6. Two pointed frees by Eoin Kinsella in the last few minutes secured the win for Naomh Olaf.
