By half-time Naomh Olaf had built up an impressive lead of 2 - 11 to no score and the final result was in no doubt.

The second half was also one-sided and the final score reflected the gap between the teams, Naomh Olaf 3 - 17, Fingallians 0 - 3.

On his debut All Ireland Minor football finalist David Byrne played on the opposite wing to his brother Dara.
