12th May 2013                    Challenge                           Wedgewood

Naomh Olaf       2 – 7                       Kilmacud Crokes              1 – 14

Naomh Olaf played a lively challenge game against Kilmacud Crokes AFL2 team at Wedgewood.  The damp blustery conditions posed problems for both sides but spectators saw some nice open football in the first half.  Half-time score Naomh Olaf 1 – 4, Kilmacud Crokes 1 – 9.

Naomh Olaf played much the better football in the second half and were within three points of Crokes with just a few minutes to play but were unable to bridge the gap.

Welcome to Naomh Olaf GAA Club.

We are a progressive GAA Club centred on the local community. The Club was established in 1981 to service the needs of the Balally and Sandyford parishes. With the development of Sandyford the catchment area now extends to Ballyogan.

In 1999 Dundrum Churchtown GAA Club merged with Naomh Olaf extending the catchment area. The Club has achieved a lot in its short history and now has excellent facilities. The Club has a thriving juvenile section including ladies football and camogie. The Clubhouse is located in Stillorgan Business Park next to the playing fields at Wedgewood and includes a sports hall, dressing rooms, bar and a function room with a fitted kitchen. Recently the club has gained use of stepasides all weather facility and our own state of the art hurling wall. The Club has a warm and friendly atmosphere and new members are always welcomed.
