NAOMH OLAF GAA CLUB 1. Always remember you are representing Naomh Olaf, not just yourself or your own team. 2. Correct club gear must be worn for all matches 3. Do not intimidate/bully fellow players 4. Have respect for Club property 5. Do not use aggressive, abusive, insulting, threatening, provocative or improper behaviour or language towards opposing and fellow Players, Mentors, Match Officials, Spectators and Members of the Public 6. Carry out, without question and dissent, any reasonable order or directive of the club executive, Mentors and Referees 7. Do not persist with fouling including personal fouls, e.g. tripping, pulling down, jersey pulling etc. 8. Team Activities 9. Do not use any other act or word, which in the opinion of the Executive Committee, brings the Club, Game or GAA into disrepute 10. Remember that the goals of the game are to have fun, improve skills and feel good. 11. Ensure all membership fees are paid in full and on time. This will ensure that you are fully insured to play with Naomh Olaf.
Enforcement/Application of Code of Conduct The Executive Committee or Sub-Committee thereof specially appointed shall: 1. Hear complaint from Players, Mentors, Members of the Public, other Club etc. 2. Investigate/Inquire into alleged breaches and satisfy themselves as to their validity 3. Advise those accused of alleged breach of Code of Conduct of the complaint 4. Call those accused of alleged breach of Code of Conduct to a disciplinary meeting (Under 18’s to be accompanied by Parent or Guardian 5. Impose/Apply sanction where necessary and advise verbally and in writing. 6. Arrange for hearing of appeal on sanction taking into account (a) Effort on the playing field, (b) Conduct other than that under review (c) Contribution to other Club Projects
