Mol an Ă“ige group doing great work   28/02/2017

16 volunteers (16/17/18 year old members) turned up to last Sunday's meeting of the Mol an Óige group.  It is reported that the recent highlights of the group's work include a hurling coaching project in Holy Trinity school, the operation of the Club shop and the Saturday morning Starpucks tea, coffee, refreshment shop.

John Somers, Club Vice-Chairperson, introduced a new project to the group called the Viking Shield Project.  This is an initiative to get young Naomh Olaf students involved in designing a Viking shield which promotes the main elements of their school and includes what the Naomh Olaf club means to the school.  It is a great idea in terms of promoting the Naomh Olaf club and in integrating the efforts of club and school.  Parents are asked to watch out for details about this project coming home from school with their sons and daughters an to encourage them to take part.  It will culminate in a display on Lá na gClub as summer approaches.

Congratulations to the Mol an Óige group for their support and assistance. Next Mol an Óige meeting will be held on March 12th at 6 pm.  Ní neart go cur le chéile.
