Under 15 Hurlers flying in Faughs

The Naomh Olaf Under 15 lads lined out for their second Division 2 league fixture away to Faughs in Tymon Park on Sunday.  While the sun shone in Sandyford very different weather conditions awaited the teams in Templeogue with a strong wind and misty rain blowing off the Dublin hills.  With assistance from a number of the Under 14 team, the regular hurling Under 15 boys set about dismantling the home side while battling against a swirling head wind in the first half.   Strong performances across the team left Faughs a goal down at half time. With the wind in the second half the Naomh Olaf lads built on the dominance of the first half.  The solid back line only allowed the home side register a single point in the second half while posting four goals and two points themselves, the game ending in a win for Naomh Olaf on a scoreline of 0:6 to 5:7.  Well done boys on another great win in the early games of the hurling league.
