2025 Easter Saturday Social Hurling Blitz
Saturday, 19th April 2025
Sign-in from 11am
Matches start 12:30pm
- For members of Social Hurling groups.
- Membership or affiliation with a GAA Club not required.
- 12 man squad. 9 players and up to 3 subs per team.
Each year we have teams turn up, short a man or two and some turn up with an extra man or two - it's all about the craic and enjoyment, so no worries if you arrive with 8 or 15, we'll mix and match where needed.
- Entry fee of €10 per team member. This covers:
- Entry to the Blitz.
- Kit bags for each team containing a dozen sliotars, 20 bibs and 50/60 cones. Almost everything needed to host a Social Hurling session!
- Raffles & Prizes.
- A quality match day with multiple matches for your team, water, snacks, prizes, and loads more.
- 4 - 5 matches per team.
- 20 minutes per match.
- Post-Blitz music, food, entertainment & craic in the Clubhouse Bar overlooking the pitches from 5:30pm.

Just a couple of T&Cs and points to note ...
Whilst all precautions will be taken to ensure the event is as safe as possible for all spectators and participants, given the nature of hurling, injuries may occur and accidents may happen.
The organisers, Naomh Ólaf GAA club and the GAA are advising participants that indivuals will be participating at their own risk.
A formal screening/disclaimer must be completed before playing.
